About a Career as a Health and Wellness Life Coach

Imagine having a rewarding, high paying job coaching people to achieve success in their work, relationships and life. As a HWL coach you will help people identify what is holding them back from having everything they want in business or life, and coach them to overcome those challenges.

Coaches have “clients” instead of “patients.” Instead of telling clients what they should do, you will act as a facilitator to help them figure out solutions for themselves. As a HWL coach, your job is to listen, to ask questions, and to give honest feedback.

As a HWL coach you may decide to assist anyone who wants coaching, or choose to specialize in coaching people in a specific area, such as: business, careers, family, mid-life, relationships, retirement, spirituality, self-awareness, time management, wellness, weight management, or work/life balance.

HWL Coaches with corporate clients may coach senior executives or get paid thousands of dollars a day to lead training programs to help employees reduce burnout, improve customer service, get along with co-workers, and maximize performance.

In this part-time online certificate course, you will learn basic principles and practical techniques for health and wellness life coaching and getting started in a career as a professional Health and Wellness Life coach.

You will learn: what a health and wellness life coach do and how to do health and wellness life coaching, how to develop your skills to succeed as a HWL coach, how to get hired for a job as a HWL coach, and how to start your own HWL coaching business and get clients.
